Week of Chaos here’s today’s face #FOTD

Sorry I’ve been quiet for over a week, I have had a whirlwind of appointments, meetings, networking, mummy stuff, me stuff and then I hosted my last event of 2014 on Thursday, leaving me totally wiped out yesterday and back and refreshed today.

So this evening I’m curling up on the sofa with a chick flick, indulging in chocolates and catching up on my blog. Think I have a couple of FOTDs to share, all about the event on Thursday and what’s coming in 2015, an experiment I’ve put my nails through and some fun little bits to share.

Anyways here is today’s face, although it looked better with my outfit for work rather than Dans bright red hoody!

A Week today until the next Pamper & Shop Event Gravesend

Its the afternoon and i still have no make up on so needless to say my FOTD is coming later, yesterday has totally wiped me out so ive been trying to get my brain working most of the morning, almost there!!

I spent this morning trying to pick a charity to support in the raffle and donations at next weeks event, this is always really hard and something that I sit and research personallly. Having read lots and crying reading all the ways people depend on charities for support, i picked Movember.

Firstly because someone who i know wouldnt want to be named but is close and special to me has prostrate cancer and its horrible and i hate it! but secondly because as much as Movembers all about supporting the Men, we are the women next to them suffering too, we are the daughters, the wives, the sisters, the granddaughters, the nieces, the friends who dont want them to have to go through this alone and through next weeks charity raffle, through donations from the tickets, through sales on certain stalls, through selfies and rasing awareness WE are going to JOIN IN, WE are going to make a DIFFERENCE, WE are going to show our LOVE & SUPPORT!

So come join me and over 20 LOCAL TRADERS & THERAPISTS, at The Clarendon Royal Hotel Gravesend at 7pm next Thursday 27th November.
There will be buy one get one free on cocktails, special Christmas goody bags, demonstrations, shopping, treatments, a truly wonderful warm friendly and fun atmosphere plus a special invitation and big reveal for 2015 ahhhhhhh …. not many people know that, im EXCITED!!

Whirlwind Wednesday #FOTD

Morning is it really only Wednesday?  I been up early today, the baby didn’t want to sleep.  I spent most of yesterday networking & in meetings, I  didn’t get chance to share about either or post about my make up, but I’m going to try and play catch up today between work, pole and paying a visit to Great Orman Street Hospital where they monitor and regularly check my baby boy. Anyone else’s days seem to be non stop?

Anyway here is my make up today, I feel so tired im surprised it doesn’t look like it’s been applied by a child!

#FOTD Monday Playing Catch Up

Got load’s done today and I’m starting to catch up with myself on the blogs, plus actually got some work done, I even began to take that washing pile I wanted to bury my head in this morning and I painted my nails!!

Wore different eyeshadow again today in my mission to wear a different colour each day for a week. Today an icey pale pink, minky mauve and deep purple all Dior, plus a touch of liner and mascara then framed brows with hd brows pallette. I like it it goes with my pale pink spotty shirt nicely, well I think so anyways..

Also got to try 2 new make up products from my November Glossybox (Beauty Box Blogs coming tommorow) they were Burts Bees Lip Shine and Lollipops Eyeliner, both of which im loving!

My #FOTD for the weekend

Hey so im sticking to my guns on this whole eyeshadow malarkey, I did wear make up over the weekend but I didn’t have time to blog and only just remembered to take pics on my way to work #CarSelfie

On Saturday (top pics) I wore a kind of lilac grey from an old Dior 5 colour palette and then Sunday I wore Estee Lauder khaki and smoked outer edges with a really dark charcoal.  What I have noticed is people are more aware of my eyes as a feature where I’m varying from the normal bronze shades I normally wear, I’m enjoying playing with colour.

#MondayManicure The Sky’s my Limit Mustang Blue

Honestly didn’t look at the name of this polish until after painting my nails, but it’s apt as after today’s Monday morning motivation I’m doing as I promised and making a start to big plans and changes for my businesses.

Anyhow…NAILS!! How devine is this shimmering blue, it’s called Sky’s the Limit and is part of a limited edition Mustang collection created with OPI.

I keep smiling at my nails as I type, I picked this colour today not because it goes with my outfit (it doesn’t I’m wearing pink polka dots!) but I was doing some blog photos using my HUGE nails polish collection (for something fun coming up later today) and this was just one of the many I havent worn yet.

My 2 Most Used Products from Antonia Maricondas Build A Beauty Blog Goody Bags!

I loved all over everything about Antonia Maricondas Build A Beauty Blog workshop, you can read about it here. The goody bags were jam packed we were well and truly spoilt! I’ve been working my way through all the products whilst settling back into work after maternity leave, but just wanted to share the two products I have used most so far.

Exuviance Gentle Cleansing Creme

What it says on the bottle; Soap Free formula, dissolves make up and impurities, lightly hydrates soothes and conditions.

And it does do all of that, with cotton pads it removes all my layers of make up and daily life plus whatever Freddie (the baby) throws at me! I’m lazy though I want something that does it all and as I found out before I read the packaging YOU CANT USE THIS ON YOUR EYES so me scrubbing away at my panda eyes resulted in 30 seconds of blurred vision, 😂 that will teach me!

What I love about this though it’s a product that says suitable for sensitive skin and it actually is suitable for MY  sensitive skin! I have to be so careful I can normally guess by smell or first contact if a product is going to react on my skin, this cleansing creme glides on, no annoying fragrance, leaves my Skin refreshed and hydrated.

Monday Morning Motivation, It’s a Start.

Morning gorgeous people
I’m finding motivation hard this morning, I’m trying to juggle lots my boys need something  constantly even if it’s just the eldest announcing his going to the toilet, the baby needing to launch something at me or the man coming in to moan about something, they don’t need me for any fun stuff this morning! Then there is the housework a mammoth task I’m choosing to bury my head in the washing pile and ignore!  Mix that in with a whole lotta work and plans finding motivation can be tough especially when you don’t know where to start, which is why I thought this was perfect  & may help inspire someone else who isn’t feeling as driven and focused this Monday morning.

#FOTD today I was fluttering Pink Eyeshadow

Hey I’ve just finished work (11pm) but wanted to stick to my promise of wearing new eye colours each day for a week. Today I was sporting some pink which I havent worn for ages but I quite like it, makes the blue in my eyes pop, well I think so anyway or do I look a numpty? What do you think?

Today I’m Rocking Purple Eyes #FOTD

So today’s face of the day looks like this…

It has reminded me, that even I get into routines and reach for the same products daily. I don’t play with colour enough anymore, so my mission is to wear a different eysleshadow colour everyday for the next week.
