#WearItBeatIt OPI Red Nails to help fight for every heartbeat supporting The British Heart Foundation

I just wanted to shout about a fabulous Friday! Through my business Sweet cheeks beauty, I was able to paint nails red and support the British Heart Foundation in the #Wearitbeatit campaign at Gravesham Women in Business. With over 40 local business women attending hosted by Hatten Wyatt Solicitors & Bretts Business Recovery it was a great morning and £120 was raised for the BHF to help fight for every heart beat.

I used my collection of OPI polishes with over a hundred in my collection I had lots of reds for the ladies to choose from, supporting the charity by wearing red February the 6th and with a number of events going on throughout February 2015

#FOTD Monday Playing Catch Up

Got load’s done today and I’m starting to catch up with myself on the blogs, plus actually got some work done, I even began to take that washing pile I wanted to bury my head in this morning and I painted my nails!!

Wore different eyeshadow again today in my mission to wear a different colour each day for a week. Today an icey pale pink, minky mauve and deep purple all Dior, plus a touch of liner and mascara then framed brows with hd brows pallette. I like it it goes with my pale pink spotty shirt nicely, well I think so anyways..

Also got to try 2 new make up products from my November Glossybox (Beauty Box Blogs coming tommorow) they were Burts Bees Lip Shine and Lollipops Eyeliner, both of which im loving!

#MondayManicure The Sky’s my Limit Mustang Blue

Honestly didn’t look at the name of this polish until after painting my nails, but it’s apt as after today’s Monday morning motivation I’m doing as I promised and making a start to big plans and changes for my businesses.

Anyhow…NAILS!! How devine is this shimmering blue, it’s called Sky’s the Limit and is part of a limited edition Mustang collection created with OPI.

I keep smiling at my nails as I type, I picked this colour today not because it goes with my outfit (it doesn’t I’m wearing pink polka dots!) but I was doing some blog photos using my HUGE nails polish collection (for something fun coming up later today) and this was just one of the many I havent worn yet.

Today I’m Rocking Purple Eyes #FOTD

So today’s face of the day looks like this…

It has reminded me, that even I get into routines and reach for the same products daily. I don’t play with colour enough anymore, so my mission is to wear a different eysleshadow colour everyday for the next week.

Face of the Day using some New Beauty Treats

I’ll review some of these products separately but for now here is my face of the day. Would love to hear your feedback in comments below.

Monday Manicure #ShareACoke OPI CocaCola Red

Soooo today I received an amazeballs Birchbox I’m working on the blog for it but at £10 plus p&p this one is so jam packed I’m pretty sure it will sell out quite fast, you can get yours by subscribing here

Anyways I used the gorgeous and intense Coca-Cola Red from the OPI Coca-Cola Collection, this is limited edition (just like my bottle pictured) and so vivid, bright and glossy. I’m in ❤

As with all OPI polishes the pro-wide brush and perfect consistency ease application giving an even coverage in just two coats. I am a good girl so of course used base and top coat!

Monday MORNING Motivation

Haha check me actually getting this post out in the morning ready for the day ahead! Amazing what you can get done when the clocks change at the kids have you up at 4.30!!

My eldest is heading out on the first day of his half term for a trip to London with his amazing Nanny, they are off to see the crown jewels and the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red Poppy display, I know he will learn so much their today and i have made him pack lots of extra tissues as my mum finds stuff like this overwhelming and very emotional, bless her cottons.

I meanwhile I will be kicking back… Yeah right I have counselling this morning then going to take the day as it’s comes and not put tons of pressure on myself, I have lots to do but I’ll get it all done as needed. I have some writing to complete, some projects to launch and a beautiful baby to squish lots. My Sunday Signature, A bit about Me & My Business behind the Blog

Thought this picture sums me up as the quirky, crazy, passionate, enthusiastic  mumpreneur behind this blog I keep writing.

I know I blog about beauty a lot but it’s actually my business and a massive passion of mine.  I understand so many behind the scenes elements of the business behind beauty, through the brands I’ve worked with and running my own beauty room. Through intensive beauty training Im also knowledgeable on the products, how to use them, the ingredients and the benefits. I share this knowledge with my clients all the time when advising them on products, routines and treatments, I promise I’ll try and remember to explain my reasonings & choices more in my blogs because it’s normally on a knowledge basis and it’s good to know!

So what do I know & how do I use my knowledge other than blogging…
💋I worked for Estee Lauder & Christian Dior, I got some of the best make up training from the worldwide make up artists I got to work alongside, this was such a fun time in my career.
💋I have an ITEC Beauty Specialist qualification that’s recognised in over 33 countries  worldwide.
💋I have been on training courses with Fake Bake and am a recognised tan expert
💋I’m a Qualified OPI Gelcolor Technician
💋I run a beauty room located within Athena Fitness Gravesend thats open Tues-Sat
💋I have had several features writing the beauty section of Kent Women In Business Magazine
💋I guest speak (ramble-often) at networking events talking about different aspects of my business
💋I support school career projects. By giving my time doing talks and sharing my experiences
💋 I host princess parties (I’m trained in face painting) and I get to spend the whole time making little girls sparkle and we all get to wear tiaras!! I also host mummy & princess days with the support of some fab local businesses!
💋I host events where I support and work alongside as many local traders as I can squeeze in to offer guests indulgent Pamper & Shopping evenings that have the most amazing friendly, fun atmosphere, luxury treatments and tons to buy buy buy! Plus goody bags and we always support a different charity through our raffle!
💋I am about to launch workshops to share my knowledge and enhance women’s confidence in beauty and make up, I’m so excited about this.

I do all this around and with the love and support of my gorgeous other half, beautiful sons and a mum who is amazing & always on hand for nanny duties. But it doesn’t always come easy sometimes jugglers have to stop and take time out, and sometimes I just have to focus. I’ll be sharing with you more this week on the time I’ve had out to reflect whilst off on maternity this year, the people who have helped me and what is coming for the very near future …plus finally a new website!

Monday Manicures Me & My Great Aunt

Love spending time with my Great Aunt and after my airy fairy moping morning there was no way better to laugh and get myself back in track than spending some time with my Great Aunt and giving her a nice mani to make her feel good.

What do you think? all it is on her nails is a nice neutral OPI nail envy in pink, with avoplex cuticle oil and moisturised with L’Occitane hand cream because it’s her favourite!

Then there is mine I was feeling adventurous so combined Minx on the ring finger with a Christmas shade of OPI Gelcolor, I Carol About You.

Morning Reflections in the Sunshine. Finding Strength with a Cuppa & Blog.

Morning you lovely lot, I’m sitting in my garden reflecting with a cuppa and just felt that maybe sharing the reflective periods as well as the happy and successful ones might help some others in their struggle.

I’ve been for a counselling session this morning and it’s left me slightly raw. I’ve had a stressful week, a lot on and face some harsh realities and worries like most people that I find hard to juggle and contend with. It’s simple things like being successful in business, being a good mum/partner/daughter/friend (questioning them all) finances, bill increases, income decreases, Christmas fast approaching that’s my favourite time of year and worrying I can not make it as special as I wish, where I’m heading, what I’m doing and everything inbetween! The reality today is, I just wanna hide in a bubble and I can’t.

I have so much to do. As always I have had stalls pull out of Thursday event, so I need to replace them, I have promotion of the event to do, I have clients booked in for treatments, writing I’d love to have some time to share and a trip to bluewater tonight with my son and his beavers group! My bubble will have to wait. For now I find inspiration and motivation in knowing, that to carry on will make me stronger in ways I may not understand yet.
