Face Of The Day Thursday. FOTD

So today is sooooo sticky and hot, I was in work at 8.30 so my FOTD is a little late again, sorry 🙂

Prep Products:

Face Wipes Yes To Cucumber facial towlettes, I know I said this made my skin irritated yesterday but I really wanted skin to change its mind on these Wipes they are just so thick and smell so nice!
Mask Akane Mask Cocoon Nocturne this is an overnight mask that’s like the pot of putty you stick your finger in as a kid to make fart noises, sorry I know it’s childish just really made me smile! It’s amazeballs it glides on, dries nicely without feeling like my face has been set in concrete and feels so luxurious washing off, looking forward to trying this properly tonight now I know my skin likes it.
Lips Dr Lipp original nipple balm for lips, I loved this so much yesterday I had to use it again while I had the mask on.

Eye serum HD Brows continuing my weekly trial still not bowled over by this product which surprises me as I love everything HD Brows
Eye Cream Balance Me just because I’m tired not wearing a lot of make up and my eyes need help, love the smell of this range.
Moisturiser Embryolisse makes my skin soft, supple and hydrated I recieved this in my Birchbox

Make Up Products

Foundation Dior Forever Foundation 020 just because it’s in a sachet sample so I figured I’d use it up before trying something new, a little goes a long way and it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing foundation in this thick heat.
Bronzer Arbonne Bronzing Powder love the tone of this Bronzer and the way it works with natural light
Blusher InStain long wearing powder blush in Swiss Dot, I love this sample I recieve dtgrough Birchbox it’s so cute like a little book for my make up bag, the colours perfect too.
Eye primer NYX I’m not wearing Eyeshadow just applying primer so my eyelids don’t look tired, instead brighter with a nice even tone.
Mascara Rimmel London The Max Volume Flash I wore this at the start of the week to be honest was more whatever one cane out the mascara pot this morning, this one is one of those that gets all round your lashes too… Cotton bud needed 🙂
Lip Liner Arbonne lip Liner in Ginger just because I’m applying lipstick so liners a must and this neutral goes easily with tons of colours, I love it’s precision and packaging.
Lipstick Arbonne Coral Reef this glides on, a nice shimmering coral colour lasts about 3-4 hours.

I kept it simple (still tons of products) but less of a made up look. Thoughts on today’s face? Haha 😂

Motivational Mondays Leading the Way

Okay so this Monday I’m focusing on how we inspire others, I spent last week housebound because my 6 year old had chicken pox. I did suffer a bit of cabin fever but overall enjoyed the time I got to spend with my boys and I noticed how much what I do inspires my eldest, Finley.

I have been planning how I will return to work and some new ventures I will be taking part in, its meant some time while the baby was snoozing working away in the sunshine at the table in the conservatory and it made me smile how much my son wanted to be sat colouring in or working away next to me. You see Finley doesn’t like writing or colouring much and his fine motor skills are below what’s expected in school, but what I love is when you spark a passion or interest in Finley he will try his hardest to draw or write about it.

We don’t just influence the young around us, this last week I have noticed how my business and what I do inspires others including people older than me, this makes me feel fabulous its great to spark off someone else’s passion. So this week thinks about your actions and how you may be inspiring those around you without even knowing it or intending to. Try and keep your thoughts and actions positive and have a fabulous week.
