Septembers Sweet Cheeks Beauty, Pamper & Shop Event at The Clarendon Royal Hotel

Just realised i didn’t share last months Pamper & Shop event I hosted, with you gorgeous lot! It was a fabulous evening held at The Clarendon Royal Hotel Gravesend, there was over 20 superb local traders, goody bags, buy one get one free on cocktails and my gorgeous Nan & Aunt running the door. And we raised £72 to help mend broken hearts for the British Heart Foundation through the evenings charity raffle and donations from the kind traders working on the evening.

It’s best explained in pictures, all of which were snapped by my official photographer Carla Guest Photography (I adore this woman and her work!)

The next event is NEXT THURSDAY 23rd OCTOBER at Clarendon Royal Hotel, Gravesend just looking over these pics makes me all excited, more details can be found right HERE.

Tuesday Make Up FOTD

Afternoon, ok this summer holidays malarkey is seriously delaying me getting anything done! I currently have 5 kids in from our road playing with my eldest in our front room while the babu watches and I’m doing my make up haha!

Anyways the first thing I had to sort was my hair, like seriously looked like id stuck my fingers in a plug socket!!

This is how I’m looking before and after….

Bronzer Arbonne Bronzing Powder
Blusher So Susan Universal Blush beautiful tones applied to the apples of my cheeks
Eye Primer Absolute New York still my fav!
Eyeliner Lord & Berry black stoll loving all over this today with the primer under neath I urge it out from the Eyeline to use as complete eye basex then reapplied really fine along lash line. I’m so excited to try more of their eyeliners they look amazing

FOTD Light Smokey Sunday Make Up

Spending the day with my man so a simple subtle grey blend over my eyes with Eyeliner and lots of lovely baby pink lipstick for a light glossy touch to a sunny Sunday.

Moisturiser Embryolisse, this moisturiser does absolutely wonders for my skin, I recieved it in my June Brazil Birchbox, and think it’s going to be a must purchase, not many moisturisers make this much difference to my skin and I think it’s extremely affordable too.
Primer MAC Prep & Prime I’ve been going mad for this primer and it’s creamy texture all week! I got this sample from following a link on MACs Facebook page.
Eyeshadow Primer Absolute New York really rating this primer on its own and as a base so far I think it’s the least oily and noticeable when I have it on. I recieved this in my June GlossyBox
Foundation Dior Forever 020 this sample is seeming to last a long time proof that with the right prep under your make up only a very little is needed.
Blusher a combination of a sample size blush InStain in which has a really bold colour with a lighter Arbonne blush circling the apples just to soften the look
Bronzer Arbonne just a little to add slight definition
Eyeshadows from a Dior grey and black 5 colour palette this is old stock but I find most shades are repeated through various palettes
Eyeliner Eyeko London this done the first eye perfectly but was dry and really dragged on the second one thing I’ve noted with this tip is it’s hard to see what’s about to or not about to come out.
Mascara curled lashes and Dior Extase for a more dramatic lash
Lipstick Thomas Sabo this is so soft light and pretty, it was a present from Christie we both love everything Thomas Sabo, my skull necklace in all my pics is by them and I also have a charm bracelet and perfumes I want so much in that shop I considered getting a job there as well as running all my stuff!! The link above is for the beauty page but it doesn’t look like they have it, you can always call the Bluewater store as I write this I know they have it in stock I saw it in their the other day 😉
Hair just to add a slight volume I just popped some sleep in rollers in anyhow just to add a bit of oomph

Less products today just for an easy yet pretty day make up. Especially as I dont actually know what we are doing yet 😉

Make Up Products
Foundation Dior Forever Foundation 020 – was going to use my normal foundation then remembered this sachet is still going! Love it light, glides on silky smooth!
Concealer Arbonne Light concealer just enough coverage without being to thick and creasing under my eyes and helps hiding the bags!!
Bronzer Arbonne just because first one I came to again although was a lot harder to blend compared to others I’d used this week where as I find when used with the Arbonne foundation it works better alongside the optilight technology.
Eye Shadow I used MAC beaded on my whole eye then Bronzer to create a defined effect along the fold of the eyelid and finished with MAC blackberry on the very outer corners. Just something neutral and easy to go with the bright lips!
Eyeliner Eyeko London Skinny mini in black, love love love this it’s like applying Eyeliner using a fine felt tip pen so easy just glides across the lash line
Mascara Laura Mércier Long Lash
Brows HD Brows Professional Palette
Lipliner NYX Plush Red
Lipstick Bella Pierre Ruby Lipstick, OMG this smooth suturing lipstick is the most perfect shade of pillar box reds with tones that make me feel confident and bubbly this lasts ages as well, 6 hours in fact before I realised I needed a refresher, recieved in my July GlossyBox would highly recommend and my fruwnd Christie who I referred is going to let me try her orange one woop woop!

Perfume Vera Wang Princess I chose this for a number of reasons, it’s Friday and it’s one of my favourites, the waterlily, apple and mandarin make it a perfect light fresh summer fragrance and finally despite the fact I’m 28 my mum and dad still call me princess 👸

Face of the Day Wednesdays Make Up

So today’s make up a bit later…  It’s the first day of the school holidays we had no alarm and my eldest had an regency for me to take him to get his ear pierced so delayed writing it up!

I love today’s make up, it’s not sticky, it’s not too heavy and I just feel bright, summery and fresh!
Prep products:
Cleansing Wipes Yes To Cucumbers soothing facial towlettes I want my skin to like these, they smell fresh and have a thicker texturebthan your standard face Wipes, I like the little handy packet too. Unfortunately my skin doesn’t like something in these, it has issues and was irritated.
Lip Balm Dr Lipp original nipple balm for lips, I was unsure of the jelly like texture of this at first but oh my its fab for lips, I put on to soak in before the whole make up procedure.
Eye cream HD Brows Eye Smoothing Serum I’m not sure on this one yet, like the wand application. Going to try for the next week.

MakeUp Products used
Primer Mac Prep & Prime, Skin Base Visage, this is beautiful creamy yet lightly whipped giving skin a smooth even tone ready for the make up
Concealer Arbonne Light this was needed today a late night plus night feeds and a lay in all the way to 8.15 woohooo I love the coverage and texture, does just what I need and smooth consistency that doesn’t crease.
Foundation Christian Dior Forever Fluid Foundation 020, a little to light but that can be fixed with Bronzer for today, it glides on smooth offering a fabulous coverage with minimal effort, it’s not too thick and doesn’t suffocate my skin in this sticky heat we have had this week.
Bronzer Christian Dior this is their old Bronzer in 030 needed to add colour to the lightness of foundation plus used to create definition perfectly.
Blusher So Susan Universal Blush same as yesterday’s I love it!
Eyeshadow Christian Dior 2 colour palette again old but amazing I still love all my Dior duos I have colours always compliment perfectly
Mascara Christian Dior Diorshow Extase, wow my lashes are so straight this curls and lifts instantly with a thick curved brush to give me the volume I desire too!
Brow Powder HD Brows Professional Brow Palette the best product I have found for my brows ever!!
Lips Bobbi Brown Artstick Bright Raspberry I purchased this at the exclusive Selfridges event The Beauty Project I adore this, the longevity, the richness of colour, ease of application and just the colour on me you know when you have that one happy colour? This is mine, it’s beautiful.

How I spent my Sunday Evening the Life of a MUA, beauty blogger & beauty therapist!

I spent Sunday sorting through my fragrances, make up and hair products! Tossing out the empties, sorting products to review, dashing out of date make up, and sorting my kit so I can start to use all its wonders a little bit more to share with you lovely lot. Check out Mondays Make Up just for an idea on how I wanna go forward with the blog. Plus I thought up tons of new ideas whilst tidying last night, I’m so excited!

Looking After Hair After Pregnancy & Birth

Ok so my second son is approaching 6 months old and already the hair is falling out thick and fast, last night what I pulled from the plughole resembled a small rat! I don’t know if this is normal for all mums but I know a few who have suffered with it. None the less it is much better than the first time round 6 years ago I remember sobbing thinking I was going bald.

I think it’s better this time thanks to how I am caring for my hair, whilst I’m always randomly trying new testers and samples sent to me, the two key products I can’t live without are my
shampoo and my hair oil. Both from the Revlon Uniq One brand. What these products promise (10 real benefits with each) I have noted personally, they hand down deliver. I’m not sponsored or endorsed I pay trade price for this product but that’s because of being a beauty professional so I do just rate and recommend it!

The shampoo (stolen daily by the men in my life) is lovely, it’s foams up and leaves hair feeling truly cleansed after just one shampoo, with a texture completely different to conventional shampoos. Does not affect the scalps natural layer of protection because it respects the pH of the skin.
